We organize discussions, roundtables, workshops and conferences not only for university colleagues and students but also for broader public. We take a chance to present there our results, however, we are glad to provide a chance to all of those who want to discuss with us or our guests. We are ready to listen to different views.

Joyce Anne-Marie van Genderen-Naar, lawyer, journalist, lecturer and advisor on trade relations between the EU and the ACP countries, born in Surinam and currently working in Brussels came to visit the Metropolitan University on Thursday 20 May 2010 to deliver a lecture on current status of trade agreements between the EU and ACP countries. The lecture took place between 11:30 and 13:00 at the garret on the fourth floor of the Metropolitan University Prague building in Prokopova 16/100 (Prague 3).

On 25 February 2010 Mr Jiri Hejkrlik from Czech Agriculture University and Ms Zuzana Hradecka from the Ministry of Internal Affaires visited our university in order to discuss about the latest development in the field of FAIR TRADE as well as to share their personal experience from this area. Students who visited our roundtable got a chance to taste some FAIR TRADE products which was highly appreciated by them.
